Rikke Frost x Bent Hansen
Bent Hansen has teamed up with Danish designer Rikke Frost for a sofa design with nothing to hide.
The sofa presents its eye-catching construction in plain view, making it a statement piece and at the same time enabling easy replacement of textile parts and convenient disassembling for upcycling, recycling, or disposal. The comfortable cushions have a reversible design that doubles their lifespan, while the frame is built to last for generations.
Frost's innovative approach has resulted in a sofa that offers both comfort and practicality for the long haul.

Not just a cushion
At 3daysofdesign Bent Hansen will be launching a limited-edition cushion collection made from leftover textiles from the Danish design industry and sewn solely by talented women on the outskirts of the Danish labour market.
The cushions are designed by Solveig Søndergaard and Martha Von Guenther from the award-winning textile design studio, Sheworks Atelier.

This year, for the 10th edition of 3daysofdesign, we go backstage behind the designs to highlight the factors hidden from view. To celebrate how everything and everyone, in one way or another, is tied together.
Behind every design, there are numerous individuals who contribute their talents, artisan techniques, and production expertise. There are endless prototypes, processes, and procedures; countless questions and conversations, and unseen variables yielding unexpected outcomes. Not to mention the many rounds of testing and fine-tuning before a concept becomes a reality.
Join us as we celebrate great design talent and discuss the future of our industry.
